Senator Ted Cruz, a Texas Republican, welcomed Kevin Durant to his new home, since, according to the reports, 15 times All-Star was changed from the Phoenix Suns to Houston’s rocks on Sunday.
Mass trade will see Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, General National Team No. 10 in the 2025 draft and five second -round teams go to the Suns, Espn reported. The exchange will not be official until July 6, when the low season is opened in the League.

Cruz congratulated the Rockets for the agreement in an X publication.
“Congratulations to the #Rocks! Losing Brooks really hurts, it’s fierce in defense, but KD is an absolute beast,” Cruz wrote. “Great trade!”
The rumors that the Suns exchange Durant swirled for weeks after the team lost the playoffs with a 36-46 record in a season under Mike Budenholzer. Phoenix believed that adding Durant to a team with Devin Booker, and later Bradley Beal could help raise them back to the NBA finals.

2025 NBA championships: Thunder are still favorites after game 6 loss
Phoenix could not be promoted to the NBA finals, losing in the semifinals of the West Conference during the 2022-23 season, being expelled in the first round in the 2023-24 season and without making the postseason this year.
Durant, 36, has still proven to be one of the best scorers in the game when he is healthy. He averaged 26.6 points per game and fired 52.7% from the field. It has been an All-Star every year that has been available to play since the 2009-10 season. The 2019-20 season was lost with an injury.
Until now it has been a low season occupied for rockets.

According to the reports, Houston extended the chief coach Ime Umoka, after his second place at the West Conference.
