The last movements of the New York Mets list raised their eyebrows on Monday before their series against the Atlanta Braves of the National League of the National League.
The METS announced that they had selected the gardener Travis Jankowski to take the list of major leagues, the optional pitcher Tyler Zuber and the picture player Luisangel Acuña to Triple-A and transferred to gardener José Siri to the 60-day lesions list. But a movement stood out in particular: the firm of the Dicky Lovelady launcher to a major league contract.

Lovelady was activated for the team’s game against the Braves, and baseball fans reacted on social networks. MLB.com reported that Lovelady, whose first name is Richard, asked fans, employees and teammates to call him Dicky.
Lovelady, 29, was a tenth round of the state of Kenneaw for the real Kansas City in 2016. He made his debut for the real in 2019. He did not appear in the majority in 2022, but resurfaced with the Oakland athletics in 2023.

Lovelady launched for the Rays of the puppies of Chicago and Tampa Bay in 2024 and was with the Toronto Blue Jays for two appearances earlier this season.
In 110 career games, Lovelady has an effectiveness of 5.26 with 93 strikeouts.
The METS entered Monday night with a 46-32 record and a game behind the Philadelphia Philis for the leadership of the National League. The braves sat 11 games behind the Philis.

New York has dealt with a series of injuries in his arms this season. The headlines Tylor Megill and Kodai Senga took care of the injuries earlier this month, as well as reliever Max Kranick, and landed on the injured list.
