Punjab Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif ordered the adoption of zero tolerance against the violation of a code of conduct to guarantee peace during Muharram. Presiding over a meeting, he ordered an immediate arrest of any person found involved in the dissemination of hateful content in social networks.
The prime minister ordered the interested authorities to enforce a ban on exhibiting banners, posters and wall attacks throughout the province. He also ordered an immediate arrest of those who violated the prohibition of flying drones during Muharram.
He directed the provincial ministers, commissioners, commissioners of attachments, RPO and DPO to supervise the arrangements for the occasion and contact religious scholars for this purpose.
Prime Minister Maryanm Nawaz ordered the authority of the Safe Cities of Punjab to function functionally with the surveillance cameras out of order. He also addressed the special monitoring unit to monitor and inform about hate content.
She ordered the authorities to launch drills of security arrangements and install ‘knows’ uniformly for Muharram meetings to distribute refreshing drinks, lemonade and cold water bottles.
It was agreed during the meeting to install iron railings for security during processions and meetings.

She ordered the creation of field hospitals and clinics on wheels along the procession routes of Ashura along with an effective traffic management plan and notices. He also asked for arrangements to guarantee timely water drainage in case of rain.
The main minister also ordered the activation of the hotel and travel surveillance applications, the continuation of the combination operations and the acquisition of an anti-rone system.
She said the SOP for the occasion must be implemented in letter and spirit.
He said that hanging electrical cables represented a great risk and that they should be urgently eliminated. There should not be an energy cut during the lights of the meetings street should not go out, he added.
“It is our greatest responsibility to safeguard the country and the nation of hate, prejudices and disunity. Division and hatred are poisonous for the new generation and we want to eliminate at all costs.
