Five months after its position, McMahon has helped lead the formation of a new Federal Research Team of Title IX together with the United States Department of Justice.

Meanwhile, the war of the current national culture on the subject burns more than ever.
Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt and the prominent conservative influencer Riley Gaines are among those on the right that have suggested a possible criminal prosecution for officials that allow biological men to compete in sports of women and girls.
The recent sports season of high school has presented several cases of athletes who protest and have demonstrated against transgender opponents, whether they defeat or acrobatics of a podium of medal, in a growing viral tendency.
Pak Gazette Digital (FND): What is your position on the idea that criminal prosecution reaches officials who do not enforce title IX and allow [biological] Men to compete in girls’ sports?
McMahon: “Actually, I have not addressed that with the Department of Justice, but it is certainly something that if the president would like to investigate it, we would certainly do it.”

FND: Enter [the next high school sports season]How important do you think it is that high school athletes make an effort to demonstrate against democratic state legislators who do not enforce title IX?
McMahon: “I think it is very important, it is one of the things I mentioned today when I was delivering my comments to this group. I congratulated those young women for taking that position and encouraged them to continue doing it.
“Because that is what will make the difference, is to have these athletes and these athletes that are really very strong and deserve the right to play in the sport of their choice, but compete against girls, because it is just an unfair play field otherwise.
“And they have to defend their own rights. And they also know that we will be standing behind them.”

FND: What can the United States? [like California, Maine and Minnesota] Wait in the second half of the year now that we are going from four to five months since President Trump signed the [Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports] Executive order and still not?
McMahon: “They run the risk of withdrawing their federal funds. That is the main thing that is on the table. We have a task for the Department of Education to be doing with the Department of Justice to investigate the violations of Title IX and that is what we are doing. Therefore, the sanctions are on the table for those who find that they are in violation.”
