In less than a year, the National Male Soccer team of the United States will compete in the World Cup as one of the three host nations.
Eleven of the 16 host stages are found in the US, which will be the host of the quarterfinals, the semifinals and the final.
The USMNT has not had much success in the World Cup. The team reached the round of 16 in 2010 and 2014, but could not qualify for the tournament in 2018. He returned to the 16 -year round, but could not leave the group stage of the Copa América in his homeland last year.

“And, many times, there is no talk of the four main main sports in the country. However, everyone looks at the numbers and say baseball, NHL. Everyone is sweating a little with football around the corner. That’s where I think the success in this World Cup, that is where I think I could really bend the corner is if men really have a great tournament.”
Twellman added that it would be a “massive failure” if the team does not reach at least the elimination stage. The last time that the United States participated in a World Cup and did not advance beyond the group stage was 2006.

“If they leave the group, and it is a favorable draw, then we are probably speaking, ‘you have to reach the quarterfinals as a host nation.’ But I think the draw depends much on that,” he said. “Then, there is much to say about that. But I understand the level of urgency. And I would say that anxiety around the national male team of the United States is in line with the growth of sport in the country.”
