
Karachi: A cargo truck hit a cargo plane parked at the Karachi Jinnah International Airport, aviation sources said Friday night, which forced the plane to be unjustified for inspection.
According to the initial reports, the plane was parked in the parking bay when a charger truck suddenly got into it.
The sources suggest that the accident may have been caused by the brake failure in the vehicle.
After the collision, the aircraft was based immediately, while a technical team began to evaluate the scope of the damage.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Pakistan has initiated an incident investigation to determine the exact cause and evaluate any possible failures in land operations.
No injuries were reported in the accident.
