Kraken received a license on Thursday from Ireland, Coinbase received a Luxembourg Mica license in June and Bybit received an EU license from Austria in May.

“This license provides clarity, trust and allows Bitvavo to fulfill its ambition: become the main platform for digital asset trade in Europe,” said Mark Nuvelstijn, CEO and co -founder of Bitvavo, in a statement.

Bitvavo, who is the largest player worldwide in the Spot Eur market, already held records in France, Austria, Italy and Spain, in addition to the Netherlands, according to the company’s statement.
