Islamabad:
The Deputy Prime Minister/Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Ishaq Dar, stressed the government’s commitment to make balanced decisions that maintain financial discipline without placing an undue burden on the public.
The DPM/FM presided over a meeting to review issues related to the electricity sector.
The meeting was attended by Power and Petroleum ministers, SAPM Tariq Bajwa, Power Secretary and senior officials of Finance and Power Ministries, said the DPM office in a press release on Saturday.
Discussions focused on key aspects of the electricity sector with emphasis on financial sustainability and consumer protection.
