The Punjab Assembly laments the swat tragedy

The members of the Punjab Assembly of the Treasury banks criticized the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government on Saturday a bloody incident of the death of tourists on Swat.

They also accused the opposition in the assembly of adopting immature conduct.

Treasury legislators said the KP government had played the role if a silent spectator when the members of a family, including children, lost their lives while crying for help.

Punjab Minister of Information, Azma Bukhari, fell strongly on the KP government, saying that tourists from all over Pakistan used to visit the Swat River, but it was surprising that appropriate arrangements had not been made to treat such eventuality.

The members prayed for those martyred in the incident.

President Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan said he was lost to understand the logic of KP’s prime minister, Ali Amin Gandapur, regarding the incident.

The parliamentarian of the Popular Party of Pakistan (PPPP), Syed Ali Haider, Gillani welcomed the repeated mention of South Punjab in the speech of Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz, saying that it indicates that the region is among its main priorities, which is a good absent.

The opposition legislator entered the house in silence and left after a short duration.

The head of the Chief of the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N), Whip Rana Arshad, presented a resolution, which was approved, condemning the SWAT incident and demanding the resignation of the KP’s main minister, and research on the matter to fix the responsibility and concrete measures to avoid such accidents.
