The first test event for the World Humanoid Robot Games 2025 began with an innovative AI 3V3 football game in Beijing on Saturday night CGTN reported.

Held at the Beijing Smart Events Center, this competition, the first totally autonomous robotic soccer tournament in China, marked a preview for the next World Humanoid Robot Games, which will take place in Beijing.

The event follows the successful debut of the first half -humanid marathon in the world in April.

The Roat Football Showdown was a remarkable exhibition of advanced robotic technology. Unlike traditional distance from remote control, humanoid players were based solely on AI -promoted strategies, operating without any human intervention or supervision.

They demonstrated real-time decision making, coordinated teamwork and the ability to self-remember after falling. Although, however, during the party, several still had to be taken out of the field in stretchers by the staff, which increases the realism of the experience.

An optimized penalty system reduced interruptions, which allows robots of 1.2 to 1.5 meters high to execute fluid movements and orchestrated attacks that resemble human football tactics.

Four elite teams left the preliminaries to reach the final. The Blaze team of the University of Beijing Sciences and Technology impressed with agile evasion maneuvers.

The smart team of power at the University of Tsinghua stood out for perfect communication protocols that allow precise passes. The Mountain-Sea team of the Agricultural University of China was distinguished through an energy efficiency design that maintained constant performance during the intense parties.

The Robotics of Thu of the University of Tsinghua defeated the mountain sea of team 5: 3 of the Agricultural University of China to win the championship.

The football game was based on Momentum from the historic humanoid robot of April, half a marathon, in which 20 teams completed a course of 21,0975 kilometers in the Daxing district of Beijing, which first marked a world and demonstrated significant progress in robotic resistance and environmental adaptation.

The stage is now scheduled for the World Robots 2025 conference, scheduled for August 8 to 12 in Beijing.

More than 200 exhibitors are expected, including leading companies such as Unitree and Agibot, which will show their latest humanoid models.

The conference will also launch key reports, including the 10 main scenarios for humanoid robots 2025 and the Global Robot Association initiative, establishing standards for the next decade.
