Caitlin Clark has been appointed one of the two captains for the 2025 WNBA stars game, the Indiana League and fever announced jointly on Sunday.
The game will take place on the local court of Fever, Gainbridge Fieldhouse, in Indianapolis on July 19.
Clark, who was an All-Star last season, has won most of the votes throughout the League with 1,293,526. This will be the first time she has been a captain of the star game.

The Naphesa Collier of Minnesota Lynx is the other captain, and together with Clark, they will choose their star games lists in an upcoming draft, which will be broadcast on ESPN on July 8.
The remaining eight headlines for the stars game will also be announced on Monday.

While Clark has recently fought with his Jumphot, he has registered four double doubles while averaging 18.2 points, 8.9 assists and five rebounds in nine games this season.
Clark also became the fastest to reach 350 assists in the history of the WNBA, which occurred during the team’s opening victory against the Chicago sky when he achieved a double triple. She told 20 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds in victory.

In addition, Clark became the fastest shipowner in the history of the WNBA to reach 250 rebounds in his career, needing only 44 games to achieve the feat.
However, Clark has been dealing with some injuries this season, since he is currently dealing with a groin injury. His second consecutive game was lost on Friday and his seventh in general this season.
Clark’s last injury was announced on Thursday, when he did not face Los Angeles Sparks. Then, only a few hours before the fever faced No. 1 in general, Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings on Friday night, it was announced that Clark would not play again.

The Fever plays Collier and Lynx on Tuesday for his next scheduled game. They also have difficult tests on Thursday and Saturday this week with games against the Las Vegas Aces and Sparks, respectively.
The fever is in 8-8 for the season and occupies the seventh place among all the WNBA teams in the classification.
