A corridor that connects two buildings near Imam Bargah in Barri in the Kharadar area of ​​Karachi collapsed on Monday, catching at least 22 people, rescue officials said.

The roof of the runner and a ladder built at the top gave way, leaving the residents of both buildings, including those of the three upper floors of a six -story structure, unable to leave.

The rescue teams and the police arrived at the scene shortly after the incident and launched an evacuation operation with snorkeling equipment.
