The boys‘The creator, Eric Kripke, has ended up filming the fifth and last season of the program.
Taking him to his Instagram account, Kripke shared a photo of him on the set for the last time.
He also wrote a sincere note: “This is the last time I will be on this set. It will soon break down.
“It is bittersweet, but my main feeling is gratitude,” he added.
By expressing his gratitude to the cast, the producer continued: “We have the best cast, the best team, the funniest story to write and something that is impossible to predict: the right time.”
The members of the cast that return include Jack Quaid, Karl Urban, Laz Alonso, Erin Moriarty, Antony Starr, Chace Crawford and Dominique Mcelligott.
“You expect your whole career to have two of those things, if you are lucky. We all have them. To the #Theboys family: Thank you, I love you all. Fans: Thank you for seeing, I can’t wait for you to see the grand finale. That is a wrap,” Kripke concluded.
In December 2024, in a FYC panel, he admitted that he enjoyed the creative freedom to write the fifth season.
“It’s a lot of fun when it’s the end,” he said. “It’s difficult and has not hit me yet about emotion. But only from a history point, you don’t have to keep the stories in a season beyond that really allows you to get the doors in a really exciting way.”
The last season of The boys, It includes 8 episodes, it is expected to be launched in 2026.
