Deutsche Bank (DB) He is planning to debut a cryptography custody service next year, Bloomberg reported on Tuesday.
The largest bank in Germany has enlisted cryptocurrency exchange bitpanda to help build the offer, according to the report, citing people familiar with the matter.
Deutsche’s previous participation in cryptographic custody has passed largely through the Swiss custodian Taurus, of which the German bank is both an investor and a client. It is not clear how this relationship would develop if Deutsche begins to offer his own service internally.
The other recent cryptographic initiatives of the Bank have concentrated in the Stablecoin sector, with its DWS asset management subsidiary planning to issue a EURO STABLOIN as part of a joint company with flow and galaxy merchants (GLXY).
Deutsche did not immediately respond to a request for comments, while Bitpanda declined to comment when he was contacted by Coindesk.
