What happened?
The demanding demanders alleged that the “confidential or private communications” were “obtained by Apple and/or shared with third parties as a result of an involuntary Siri activation.” According to the demand home page, that took place at some point between September 17, 2014 and December 31, 2024.

How to claim
If you think it is eligible for a payment in the ‘Lopez V Apple INC’ demand, you must use the official complaint form and send it at the end of July 2, 2025.
You must comply with some quite specific criteria to be eligible for payment. That criterion is below and the claim form asks you to confirm the entire oath:
- Between September 17, 2014 and December 31, 2024, he bought or owned a Siri device in the United States, and Siri enabled that device
- Experienced an “involuntary Siri activation” in that period
- That involuntary activation of Siri took place “during a conversation aimed at being confidential and private”
You can make claims for up to five Siri devices: these may include iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, MacBooks, IMACS, Homepods, Ipod Touch or Apple TV.
