Earlier this year, Max Homa said he had a “comment-semi” time when he decided to eliminate X, previously Twitter.
The PGA star was once active in the application, but said in March that the platform is now “for the sick.”
“I was sick. I’m trying to be healthy now,” Homa said at that time.

Before John Deere Classic, Homa remained firm in his personal boycott of the “horrible and horrible place.”
“The reason for that is only the vitriol that you read online. It has become a safe shelter for people who are, I am angry with themselves. It is quite absurd how comfortable people feel writing horrible things,” Homa told journalists on Wednesday.
“Twitter or X or whatever a horrible and horrible place. It took some time to catch how shocking it can be and how much energy waste. I miss the connection with fans, but nothing comes without so much hatred and anger. There is also a lot of love there, but, unfortunately, it becomes overwhelmed by a really bad one.”
Homa hinted that the increase in the game, which said “seems fun like hell in golf,” may be contributing to vitriol online.

“People say some bad and bad things on the Internet. You make people tell you that you should die on the Internet. It has nothing to do with not connecting. I would love to continue connecting to people, but I try to do it in person a little more because I still have to meet someone in person who has said something even remotely.
“It is a safe shelter for holes, due to lack of a better term.”
Homa has fought lately. Seven cuts have been lost in 16 tournaments this year with only one Top 25, which reached the Masters. That was his first cut made from the open championship last year, but, since then, he has finished the 70th, tied in the 30th, tied in 60s, tied in 51st position and tied in 54ยบ with another pair of lost cuts.

Last year, he took the tenth place in the world. Last month, he had its own bag for 36 rating holes of US Open. The tournament was lost after a throats of three whores in his final hole, where two putts would have put him in the Oakmont tournament.
