PM laude Ksa’s role in the truce with India


Islamabad:

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday appreciated the efforts of Saudi Arabia for peace in the Middle East, as well as his important role in the understanding of high fire between Pakistan and India.

The Saudi ambassador thanked the prime minister for the role of Pakistan in peace and stability in the region.

FBR

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif applauded the Ministry of Finance and the Federal Income Board (FBR) on Wednesday for achieving a 42% historical increase in federal tax revenues during fiscal year 2024-25, the highest increase in the last decade.

The prime minister presided over a high -level weekly review meeting on the FBR digitalization and reform agenda, while during the informative session, it was revealed that the reforms and application of the new fiscal laws allowed the Government to collect 865 billion additional rupees compared to the previous year, an increase of eight times.
