Boxer Julio César Chávez Jr arrested by ICE Days after Jake Paul Fight

Julio César Chávez Jr. was arrested for immigration and customs control (ICE) only four days after fighting Jake Paul at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

The National Security Department announced the arrest on Thursday, saying that Chavez was being prosecuted for “issued elimination of the United States.”

The announcement also declared that Chavez has an arrest warrant in Mexico for his participation in the Sinaloa cartel.

“On July 2, Ice arrested the Mexican boxer and abroad criminal Julio César Chávez Jr.”, reads in the announcement in X.

“It is now being prosecuted for the accelerated elimination of the United States. This Sinaloa cartel affiliate has an active arrest warrant in Mexico for its participation in organized crimes and traffic of firearms, ammunition and explosives.”
