The opener of the Cleveland Guardians, Luis Ortiz, was put in non -disciplinary license hours before he had scheduled to carry the mound against the Chicago puppies on Thursday, MLB announced.
While MLB did not reveal the nature of his investigation, ESPN reported that he was related to the game.
Two launches are being analyzed by Ortiz during the beginning.

In June, the IC360 Betting Firm transmitted the two releases to the betting houses, according to ESPN, and the first was June 15 against the Seattle sailors.
The firm marked an unusual betting action in the first launch released by Ortiz at the bottom of the second entrance to be a batter or batter. Ortiz fired a sliding control on the ground away from the Strike area.
Then, on June 27, the most unusual betting action reached an Ortiz launch at the top of the third entry against the San Luis cardinals. Once again, the bets were on a successful ball or batter, and Ortiz proceeded to increase another release that the receiver could not handle.

The non-disciplinary license for Ortiz is scheduled to run through the MLB All-Star break, with games that resume for the second half of July 18.
The Guardians issued a statement on the matter after the announcement of MLB.
“The guardians have been notified by the big baseball leagues that Luis Ortiz has been licensed by an agreement with the Association of Players due to an ongoing investigation of the League.
“Guardians are not allowed to comment at this time and will respect the confidential research process of the League.”

Ortiz has launched 16 times for the Guardians this season, registering an effectiveness of 4.36 and 96 strikeouts.
