Islamabad:
Pakistan and Russia have agreed to improve road and rail connectivity among their countries through Central Asia, in an attempt to boost regional trade and economic cooperation.
The development occurred during a bilateral meeting between the Federal Minister of Communications Abdul Aleem Khan and the Deputy Minister of Transportation of Russia, Andrey Sergeyevich Nikitin, held on the last day of the Ministerial Conference SCO in Tianjin, said a press release issued here Thursday.
The discussion emphasized the acceleration of road construction between regional countries to facilitate this connectivity.
