Joey Chestnut was not the only great name in Rabey Island for the contest to eat hot dogs in Nathan.

People for the ethical treatment of animals (PETA) announced their presence outside the basic element of Coney Island on Friday before Chestnut took the stage.

The members of the organization distributed Hot Dogs Vegan to people along the Paseo MarĂtimo, while hundreds of Nathan Franks were being prepared for competitive dining rooms.

Before the event, Peta told Pak Gazette Digital that “Tommy Tofu and his Peta friends will be there in the famous Nathan’s hot dog contest, distributing hundreds of tasty Hot Dogs Vegans while challenging hungry spectators to enjoy a free and tasty room that is also friendly with animals.”

“The Hot Dogs Vegan are delicious and friendly, and who really wants to support the slaughterhouses, the word is enough, buying what comes out of them,” said Peta’s executive, Tracy Reiman, in a statement. “Peta encourages everyone to let freedom sound for everyone leaving animals at peace this July 4 and beyond.”

Joey Chestnut claims the title of the hot dog food contest after last year’s absence when 70.5 Franks falls

Chestnut returned to the competition after disappearing last year due to the association with a brand -based brand, impossible Foods.

It looked almost as well as ever, going down 70.5 dogs and buns in the period of 10 minutes. It was his 17th victory in his last 18 attempts (he lost to Matt Stonie in 2015), and it was the seventh time that he eclipsed the mark of the 70s.

The presence of Peta did not compare with the protester that Chestnut put a key in the head in 2022, but is another appearance of the animal activist group. Last year, Peta planned “Bombard the viewers of the competition” and brought a truck to encourage fans to be vegan.
