Graice Hunt, the daughter of the owners of Kansas City Chiefs Clark and Tavia Hunt, cried the loss of a 9 -year -old relative who died in the devastating floods of Texas during the weekend.

Janie Hunt was one of the dozens of children in Camp Mytic who died on floods. She was only 9 years old. Gracie Hunt published a heartbreaking message on Instagram while devastating news continued to leave the County where the Mystic Camp was.

“Some days, it is difficult to understand how the world can contain so much beauty and so much pain. How can the same God who created the stars and start the planets allowing such deep suffering? The truth is that we live in a broken world, one that groans for redemption,” he wrote citing a passage from the Romans. “But the Scriptures promise that one day, Christ will do all new things: a new sky and a new earth (2 Peter 3:13).

“My heart hurts for our family and extended friends who lost daughters, for every lost life and every family destroyed by the floods in Texas. I have no easy answers, but I do know: following Jesus does not save us pain, but it means that we never face him alone.

“Even in the darkest valleys, we cling to the hope that this is not the end of the story.”

Sudden floods killed more than 100 people in the state. In Kerr County, home of youth camps in the country of Texas Hill, search engines have found the bodies of 84 people, including 28 children, authorities said Monday.

Ten girls and a counselor were not yet counted in Camp Mystic.

President Donald Trump also told journalists in Morristown, New Jersey, on Sunday he would probably visit Texas on Friday.

“We have been in contact with Governor Abbott and very close to Governor Abbott. And, all in Texas. Kristi Noem has been there and will continue to be there. And we are working very close to Texas representatives,” Trump said.

“And it is a horrible thing that took place. Absolutely horrible. Then we say that God bless all the people who have gone therefore, and God bless the state of Texas. This incredible place.”
