- A complete list of colors and storage settings for the Pixel 10 series have been leaked
- Interestingly, it is possible that you can only get a jade tone with 256 GB of storage
- Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL could start with only 128 GB
After the expected Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 of Samsung, it is likely that the Google Pixel 10 series is the next great launch of smartphones that we will see, and the leaks begin to paint an image of what to expect, even the colors for the phones.
According to distributor data seen by Droidlife, the Google Pixel 10 will be sold in obsidian (black), frost (probably white), indigo (purple or blue) and lemon tones (a pale yellow), all with an option of 128 GB or 256 GB of storage.
For the Google Pixel 10 Pro, there is the porcelain (white) or moon option, each with 128 GB, 256 GB or 512 GB of storage, and there is also a tone of obsidian with the same storage capabilities along with a 1TB option. Interestingly, they also mention a jade tone (green), but let’s say this is only available with 256 GB of storage.
The Google Pixel 10 Pro XL appears in the same selection of colors as Pixel 10 Pro, but there is no 128 GB option for porcelain or moon stone tones.
Finally, Pixel 10 Pro Fold is listed in 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB configurations, all of which are available in Monstone, while only 256 GB and 512GB are available in Jade.
Strange options
There are some slightly strange things here. The first is to limit Jade’s shadow to only a capacity of 256 GB for Pixel 10 Pro and the Pixel 10 Pro XL. It is not completely unheard of telephone manufacturers only offer certain colors with a certain storage capacity, but it seems a penalty since Jade sounds like one of the most interesting color options.
Apparently, it is also limited to the obsidian tone for these two phones if you want 1 storage TB, and if you want a 10 Pro XL pixel of 128 GB, then Obsidian will also be the only color option.
Another notable thing here is that Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL will apparently start 128 GB. That is true for current models, but it is not a very ‘pro’ storage capacity, so we would not have surprised ourselves if it fell.
In addition, the colors here do not coincide with an earlier escape of 10 -colored pixels. Droidlife points out that distributors sometimes use colored code names, so that could explain the discrepancies if the code names were used here but not in previous leaks. However, some of these are colors in which we have seen pixels before and, therefore, presumably are not code names. So, one of these leaks is presumably incorrect.
We will probably discover which on August 20, since that is the release date of Pixel 10 rumored, but it is likely that many more leaks and rumors arise before that.
