The Chicago Sky star, Angel Reese, was seen taking out a clipboard from the hands of one of her coaches during a defeat against Washington’s mystics on Tuesday.
With less than 30 seconds for the game, and both teams tied at 77, Reese left the court visibly annoying for a waiting time. When Reese went through the vice president of strength and conditioning of the team, Ann Crosby, Reese, spontaneously slapped the clipboard by Crosby when Crosby seemed to try to show something to reese something in him.

The clip obtained controversy and fans’ criticism when it became viral on social networks.
“Never miss their coaches,” a user wrote.
Another user wrote: “This is not a good behavior.”
Other social networks commentators used the clip as an opportunity to compare Reese with their former university rival and the WNBA phenomenon, Caitlin Clark.
“Caitlin Clark never,” a person wrote.

Another user wrote: “It must be a better model to follow. Caitlin Clark is a great example of one.”
After the Mystics took an advantage of 79-77, Reese managed to tie the game making two free throws. But Shakira Austin de Washington replied and gave the mystics leadership with a couple of their own free throws with only two remaining seconds. Washington won 81-79.
The loss wasted one of the best performances of Reese of 2025, since it ended with 22 points, 15 rebounds and four assists.

Even so, the sky fell to 5-13, and currently has the second record in the WNBA, just before the 2-16 Connecticut Sun.
Meanwhile, Clark’s team, Indiana Fever, has 9-9. Clark has lost 10 games this season, but he is expected to return to his team on Wednesday for a game against the Golden State Valkies.
