- Another escape from Samsung Galaxy S25 Fe has emerged
- The average range phone is configured to get a better OLED screen
- We could see this phone released in September
So far, we have not heard much about a Samsung Galaxy S24 Fe successor that was launched in September 2024, but a new leak suggests that the next Galaxy S25 Fe could bring a fairly significant screen update with it.
According to ZDNET in South Korea (through GSMARENA), the Galaxy S25 Fe is obtaining a flexible and updated OLED screen that should mark some improvements on the Rigid OLED screen used in the Galaxy S24 Fe.
Being ‘flexible’ does not mean that the screen can be folded, but technology allows thinner screens and smaller bezels, which the Samsung Galaxy S25 Fe should convert into a phone that looks and feels more premium than the one that arrived before.
It also costs more, as expected, a price increase that can be transmitted to customers. As you will see in our Samsung Galaxy S24 Fe review, the price of that phone began at $ 649.99 / £ 649 / au $ 1,099 when it was launched.
Cameras and processors
If you are new in FE models (or fans edition), they are generally reworking of the flagship phones that exchange some specifications, materials and features at a lower price. That should be the case again when the Galaxy S25 Fe is launched.
A couple of months ago, we had a filtration with respect to the cameras on this phone, and it seems that only the Selfie camera will be updated to 12MP from 10MP. The 50MP + 12MP + 8MP rear chamber module will apparently be the same.
That would be something disappointing, but we hope that the Galaxy S25 Fe obtains at least one increase in the processor, so it will be a little faster than its predecessor, even if the quality of the photos and videos that captures remains unchanged.
Before arriving at the Galaxy S25 Fe, which should land at some time in September, we have the next Samsung event unpacked tomorrow, July 9, where we should see the Galaxy Z Fold 7, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the Galaxy Watch 8.
