  • Pakistan fighting the greatest inner war against terrorism: Bilawal.
  • He says he can’t hide anything after going through the Fatf process.
  • Add Pakistan offered an impartial investigation, but India rejected.

The former Foreign Minister and president of the Popular Party of Pakistan (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, rejected the statements of India to sponsor terrorist groups to carry out attacks outside Pakistan.

In an interview with Indian journalist Karan Thapar, Bilawal said: “Pakistan does not voluntarily allow […] The groups he mentioned or any group to carry out terrorist attacks outside Pakistan but also inside Pakistan. “

Highlighting the losses of the country during the war against terrorism, the PPP legislator said that the world is very aware that Pakistan faced the worst part of terrorism in recent decades.

“Pakistan is fighting and has been fighting the largest inner war against terrorism. We have lost 92,000 lives completely. Last year, we lost more than 1,200 civil lives in more than 200 different terrorist attacks.”

“At the rhythm at which terrorist attacks are carried out only this year alone, if they continue at this rhythm, this year will be the bloodiest year in the history of Pakistan.”

Remembering the murder of his mother and former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, Bilawal said: “I am also a victim of terrorism. I feel the pain of the victims of Pahalgam’s terrorist attack. I understand the trauma that their families are experiencing in a much more than many others can imagine.”

He also elaborated in the current battle of Pakistan to eradicate the threat, saying: “Pakistan went through a process in which we not only take military measures against terrorist groups within Pakistan.”

He said that in the previous mandate of Zardari, Pakistan carried out an operation in South Waziristan after Benazir’s murder, and the next government carried out another operation in Waziristan of the North.

Rigorous’ fatf process

“We implement a National Action Plan regarding our actions against concern groups for India. More recently, we go through a rigorous Fatf [Financial Action Task Force] process.”

He added that the international community was very aware and supported Pakistan’s actions against terrorist groups.

Bilawal added that Fatf is a very rigorous process that has a complete monitoring mechanism, so it is not as if it can hide from it.

Scruting the Indian accusations, Bilawal said that immediately after Pahalgam’s attack, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif publicly declared that Islamabad is “willing to be part of any impartial international investigation into the incident, our hands are clean.”

“We had that kind of confidence. It was the Indian government that rejected that offer. To this day, the Indian government has not shared with Pakistan or the international community.”

Pakistan and India were involved in a military confrontation in May, caused by the attack of Pahalgam in April in Jammu and Cashmira illegally occupied (Iiojk). Pakistan has denied participation in the attack.

Bilawal had also directed a parliamentary delegation that visited the global capitals on a mission to discredit Indian propaganda after the recent conflict between the two countries.

The nuclear weapons rivals used missiles, drones and artillery fire during four -day fighting, their worst in decades, before accepting a fire.

In response to Indian aggression, the Armed Forces of Pakistan launched a large-scale military action, called “Bunyan-Mou-Marshus Operation”, and addressed several Indian military objectives in multiple regions.

The president of the United States, the president of the United States, Donald Trump, announced the high fire on social networks after Washington had conversations with both parties, but India has deferred with Trump’s claims that resulted from his intervention and threats to cut commercial conversations.

However, Pakistan has recognized Trump’s efforts and formally recommended it for the Nobel Peace Prize 2026, citing his role in the deactivity of tensions between Pakistan and India last month.
