The Federal Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi, has urged the Arab Emirates attached to relieve visa policies for Pakistani citizens.
In an official visit to the EAU, the Minister of the Interior discussed bilateral relations on security, counter-narcotics and immigration policies with the Vice Primer Minister of the EAU and the deputy general of the Interior Minister, Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed al Nahyan.
“We want Pakistani citizens to come to the EAU with ease,” Naqvi said pressing to relax in the Eau visa policies.

During the visit, NAQVI was presented to the high -level officials of the EAU and participated in high -level discussions focused on visa facilitation for Pakistani citizens, especially work visas.
Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to expand cooperation in key areas, including security, non -slip efforts and the use of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) to address emerging security challenges.
Naqvi also toured the modern Surveillance and Operations Center of the Abu Dhabi Police, where it was informed about the advanced surveillance and prevention systems of the city’s crime. He praised technological innovations and expressed interest in adopting similar systems in Pakistan.
The key officials present included General Salem Ali Al Shamsi, Major General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Brigade Engineer Hussain Ahmed, Brigadier Saeed Abdullah to Suwaidi, as well as the Pakistan Ambassador to the US.
Naqvi concluded his visit by calling for fraternal relations of the EAU-Pakistan a national asset and expressing Pakistan’s desire to deepen cooperation in all areas, particularly security and public welfare.
Previously, he addressed generalized concerns for visa rejections by the EAU. He expressed the hope of a positive result, especially for Pakistani business travelers who frequently visit the Gulf Nation.

Naqvi also highlighted continuous efforts to improve the global classification of the Pakistani passport, with the objective of a significant increase in two years.
