Islamabad:
The Pakistan Supreme Court declared the former PTCL employees on Thursday as with the right to pensions and ordered the company to prepare the payment schedule within 90 days.
A bank of three members of the Supreme Court has issued a detailed decision on more than 250 appeals and requests.
According to the decision, financial problems do not give an excuse to the institution to pay a pension, PTCL must prepare a payments program for pensioners within 90 days.
The president of the Supreme Court, Yahya Afridi and Judge Aminuddin, ruled in favor of pensioners, while Judge Ayesha gave dissident note.
