Drew McIntyre will return in the ring at the main event on Saturday night at WWE when Randy Orton faces more than a month after he lost to Damian Priest in a steel match.
McIntyre showed his face last week when he interrupted a segment between Orton and Cody Rhodes.
Without fear of saying how it is, McIntyre wondered “what happened” to Orton when the so -called “legends murderer” apparently lost the psychological war against Rhodes long before he lost the game against him that he would have given him an opportunity in the WWE Championship indisputable against John Cena in Summerslam.

Orton received the last word that night, but established a match between the two superstars in the main event on Saturday night.
“I think we will discover it,” McIntyre told Pak Gazette Digital when asked if Orton could have lost his murderous instinct. “Finally I dropped with the RKO after I ran my mouth for eight minutes in a row. But I am honest. I’m always honest. I’m not the bad. You know, ‘heel’, as everyone likes to say. I just tell the truth and that makes you the bad guy today.
“I said that Cody has been maintaining it for months, talking about how great friends they are, how much he respects him, making Randy’s guard lead to the game (Night of Champions) and the second second Randy modified his back, his back surgically repaired, his back would never return from a moment.
“What did Cody do? ‘My good friend, oh my God, are you okay? I want to do this in the right way.’ It wasn’t just after his back.
McIntyre said that “Pressing” Orton was part of the plan to get a game with him. He compared to John Cena and said he was not going to sell his soul and take the “cheap” route to get a chance for the title.

When it came to whom he wants to face for the title, he directly pointed to Rhodes and made it clear that he did not want to face this dinner version.

“Dinner and Cody in Summerslam … I have already said this. I don’t want this John Cena. This John Cena is a bit B —-“, he said. “We never had one by one. It would be a great game. I don’t want this dinner.
“I want to send it by packing in the way it used to be: bustle, loyalty and respect, doing things in the right way. These cheap finishes, all abandon the sand as, ‘that damn strung, that was a loss of money.’ I want the real John Cena.
McIntyre compared his career with Rhodes and believes that his possible confrontation would be one that everyone wanted to see.
“And as I told Cody, parallel races for 20 years. Both returned a shitty hand in the character of the day. We both had to leave the company to meet, return, take us where we are now. He used to be where he was in his mentality where he is now. I have gone through that. I see what is important now,” he told Pak Gazette Digital.
