In a market full of accessories that claim to optimize its configuration, AV Access has announced a new contender: Idock B10.
The new KVM coupling station is marketed as a solution all in one for double computer settings, offering support for two 8K to 60Hz monitors or ultra -high update rates up to 240Hz.
This level of resolution may not be essential for most users, but AV Access is aimed at professionals and players aware of performance that prioritize speed and visual clarity.
Built to change the ease and intense workloads
This device offers more than the best USB center and even some laptop coupling stations when combining high -speed USB expansion, video output and Ethernet connectivity with integrated KVM functionality.
The B10 idock includes 11 ports: USB 3.0, HDMI, Displayport, Gigabit Ethernet, an SD card slot and an 3.5 mm headphones connector.
It also offers 100W of power, enough to load a high -performance laptop during extended use.
Its central function allows users to control both a laptop and a desktop with a single keyboard, mouse and monitor, changing between them using a front panel button or a cable remote control.
“In the current hybrid work environment, flexibility is essential, especially for professionals such as graphic designers, software developers and game enthusiasts,” said Bill Liao, CTO of AV Access.
At $ 224.99, with a 10%launch discount, idock B10 is not cheap, but tries to replace what would normally require multiple devices.
For users who need a double monitor configuration capable of changing between two computers without signal abandonment or peripheral delay, the B10 could be an investment worthwhile.
However, the double 8K support, equivalent to 66 million pixels, remains an extreme proposal, especially when most creative professionals work with 4K in the best case.
AV Access has also launched a 4K version, called IDock M10, for MacBook users, and offers summer discounts on other models such as C10 and C20.
