The main office of the Milwaukee Bucks has had a low season occupied while the organization reorganizes the list due to uncertainty about the future of the franchise Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Shortly after the Pacers lost game 7 of the NBA finals against Thunder, the Bucks acquired Myles Turner from Indiana. Turner and the Bucks reached an agreement on a four -year agreement worth $ 107 million, Espn reported.

Turner spent a decade in Indiana, but the two -time NBA block leader seemed to be at a dead point in Indianapolis.

While multiple reports indicated that the Pacers were initially open to work towards a lucrative contract with Turner, the position of the franchise in the construction of the list seemed to change after Tyrese Haliburton injured an Achilles tendon in game 7.

Haliburton is expected to be set aside throughout the 2025-26 season, asking questions about whether the Pacers would be able to compete for a championship in the near future.

Turner spoke with journalists in Las Vegas on Saturday when he was officially presented as a member of the Bucks.

Turner pointed out “alignment problems” between him and the Pacers during his explanation of why he decided to leave the only NBA franchise for which he had played.

“There were alignment problems, I think, on that side, you know, in regards to me,” Turner said. “Simply out of respect for your organization, out of respect for this organization, I will not talk too much about that. But, you know, this was the best decision for me in the future and the best option.”

Turner admitted that it was not easy for him to leave the team that selected him in the first round of the 2015 NBA Draft.

“There were many decisions that entered that. It was not easy,” Turner said. “I spent 10 years of my life in one place. I was a teenager when I arrived at the Indy market, and when I sat down and began to evaluate things and see where I was in my career, see where I was in my life and what I wanted for me, I only saw what the Bucks were preparing.

“And I was excited about the opportunity. I had excellent conversations with Doc. [Rivers] and Jon [Horst]And obviously my agent too, and my family. And I think we all decided and, ultimately, I decided that this is where I needed to be. “
