Foreign accusations shake AFGANA E-VIS research

A turn in the investigation of a scandal that involves the illegal emission of electronic vases to Afghan citizens has emerged.

Two officials of the FIA antihuman smuggling cell, including a sub -inspector, have found involved in bribery. The general director of the FIA, Riffat Mukhtar, took immediate measures when arresting the accused and forming a joint research team (Jit).

According to the sources, the FIA had previously discovered a network that allegedly involved officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and PID, who facilitated the illegal issuance of e-visas to Afghan citizens through false sponsorships.

Six suspects, including the information assistant of PID, Nader Raheem and several Afghan nationals, were already under arrest.

During the investigation, the DG of the FIA received credible information that suggests that some officials were colluding with suspects and bribes demanding in exchange for preferential treatment. An investigation was launched under the supervision of the director of the Islamabad area, Shehzad Nadeem Bukhari.

The sub -inspector Waseem Ahmed and agent Aqib Mehmood were arrested by the FIA anti -corruption circle for allegedly demanding RS2 million in bribes of Zubair’s suspect during his physical remnancy, promising to relieve his conditions and transfer it to judicial custody. The FIA has formed a four -member jit led by Deputy Director Nauman Khalil, including Shams Khan, Shehryar and Agent Mehdi sub -inspectors to investigate more. The authorities confirmed that six suspects – Abdul Aziz, Ahmed Sakhi, Atif Ahmed, Nader Raheem Abbasi (PID Officer), open Ahmed and Zubair Ahmed – have been arrested in case E -Visa.
