Islamabad:
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi criticized India for rejecting the offer of the president of the United States, Donald Trump, of mediating on the subject of Kashmir, describing the evidence of rejection of the “warrior mentality” of New Delhi.
In a statement that marks the day of the martyrs of Kashmir, Naqvi said that the offer represented a lost opportunity for the Pacific dialogue. “The rejection of India presented its lack of will to solve disputes through diplomatic means,” he said.
Naqvi paid tribute to the 22 martyrdized puppies on July 13, 1931, during a peaceful protest against the Dogra regime. He described the event as a “inflexible resistance” symbol.
