Islamabad:
It is expected that gasoline and diesel prices will increase to RS6.60 per liter (2.5%) for the next fortnight from July 16, 2025, according to oil industry estimates.
The projected increase includes an increase of RS6.60 per liter in gasoline prices and an increase of RS5.27 per liter (1.9%) in the high -speed diesel rate (HSD).
However, the prices of other oil products, including chest oil and light diesel oil (LDO), are expected to decrease by RS3.74 (2%) and RS2.23 (1.3%) per liter, respectively.
These estimates are based on an oil tax (PL) and the carbon sustainability tax (CSL) of RS78.02 per liter in gasoline and RS77.01 per liter in HSD.
