Atlanta – Minor league baseball players have had the opportunity to become familiar with the automated blows (ABS) system. The major leagues players were introduced to spring training, but once the regular season began, the human arbitrators ruled if a launch fell into the Strike area.
The challenge system, which has caused some controversy in the world of baseball, made its star in this Tuesday night in Atlanta in the 2025 mlb star game.
The ABS system did not take long to affect the summer classic.

At the bottom of the first entrance, the American league launcher Tarik Skubal to the parents of parents Manny Machado was called a ball. The decision resulted in a 1-2 count instead of a punch. But an appeal was made to the ABS challenge system, which sent Machado to the bench with a punch.
“I am not a fan of the ABS,” Buxton told Pak Gazette Digital at the American League Club House on Tuesday, just a few hours before the Robot System Ubpire Challenge made his debut in the star game in Atlanta.
‘I thought they were joking’: the emotion and confusion of the first MLB swing-off
“That is why baseball is how it is now. That is why you receive crazy Instagram messages, Twitter messages now. Abdominals seem to do things a little more complicated (because) if you can bet if that pitcher (it is) to throw a strike or not … that is quite wild for me.”

Buxton says that Pete Rose’s baseball race should be respected
“I don’t know how many people will receive 4,000 hits,” said the 31 -year -old to Pak Gazette Digital. “In my opinion, it is quite wild that I was not in the Hall of Fame to be able to see it. It is only one of those (things) where, give respect. (No other player has) that many blows, so give him respect.”
In May, the MLB Commissioner, Rob Manfred, announced Rose, “Shoeless” Joe Jackson and other deceased players were removed from the “permanently ineligible list” of the League.
