The Pakistan Airport Authority (PAA) carries out large -scale emergency drills at the Skardu International Airport, with the aim of testing the preparation and coordination between all relevant agencies in case of eventuality, a spokesman said Wednesday.
According to Paa spokesman, the exercises were supervised by the airport manager. On the occasion, the principal firefighters and rescue officer gave an informative session that highlighted the crisis management strategy, added that the airport staff, the Armed Forces, the civil institutions and the district administration participated in the drill.
