However, after going through an incredible routine, Lee was in Paris and won three medals: the whole team won the gold, and Lee herself became bronze in the bars totally alone and unequal.

More recently, she was nominated and won the best athlete back at the 2025 Espy on Wednesday night.

“It’s amazing, and it’s a very surreal sensation just because I know how difficult the trip was, so being here is quite incredible on its own, and I am really excited for tonight and be with the other nominees,” Lee said.

“Oh, my God, they have been so incredible, and they have also taken me to so many incredible places, and having that relationship is very fun. I feel that every time we are with them, we are all having a great time, and they are really such great people, so it is a great relationship.”

Lee admitted that he did not start feeling 100% normal until after the Olympic Games.

“We were still trying to solve everything, entering the routine, learning how my body was able to adapt to medicine the changes in time and the trip that happened a lot at the same time. In addition, being stressed and overwhelmed definitely did not help me. But I would say that things definitely calmed me, but now I have to mess in my life. Now.”
