It was not clear if the cameras for television transmission collected audio from the alleged whistled noise. Later, Rahm minimized the tense time he had with the viewer, attacking his emotional reaction to the “bad moment” of the noise in question.

“I mean, if I had to paint an image, you have the toughest tee blow in the course, raining, to the wind on the left, it is enough,” Rahm told the gathered media. “I know they are not doing it on purpose. It seemed that someone tried to get someone for whatever. It was a bad moment.”
Rahm admitted that he had “a bad swing.”

“I think I just used the time to let any tension I had in me. That really is not what it is. To be honest, it probably did not affect as much as I sounded. It was also a bad swing. Just a difficult hole.
“I mean, it’s frustrating, but it’s what it is. It is something everyday in golf,” Rahm concluded.
The 30 -year -old entered the last final tournament of the season from the heels of a second place in the Liv Golf event in Spain. Rahm had his best outdoor performance in 2023 when he ended up in a draw for second place.
