‘The people of Sindh support Imran’s liberation struggle’

Islamabad:

The political coordinator of PTI, Amjad Ali Khan, has said that the people of Sindh are at the forefront of the struggle for constitutional supremacy and the liberation of Imran Khan.

In a statement, he said that keeping the founder of PTI in lone confinement while denying access to his personal doctor, lawyers and family members is not only a serious violation of basic human rights, but also an assault on constitutional values.

By calling him the worst form of political revenge, Khan condemned what he described as an inhuman treatment of Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, in prison.

He said that Imran Khan’s only “guilt” was to tell the truth and awaken the nation, something, he said, the current rulers cannot tolerate.

Khan also claimed that the prevailing system suffocates the dissent instead of addressing the real problems facing the public. He criticized the reduction of judicial powers after the 26th amendment and said that the abuse of political prisoners has become a disturbing norm.

He averaged that PTI would continue his struggle to defend the ideology of Imran Khan, defend the Constitution and democracy, and protect basic human rights.
