- Amazon has renewed Invincible For a fifth season
- The fourth input of the highly qualified animated program will arrive at some point in 2026

Amazon has revealed Invincible It has been renewed for a fifth season.
The announcement, which was made in the social networks channels of the Animated Adult Program yesterday (July 17), confirms Invincible Season 4 will not be your final entry. Taking into account how popular the main videos acclaimed by criticism is, that is not a great surprise, but it is nice to hear that Mark Grayson’s story will continue in one of the best transmission services in the world.

Interestingly, Amazon also revealed that the cast of the program had already completed the recording of its lines for its fifth season.
It is likely, then, that Invincible Season 5 could be ready to go in 2027 and maintain the recently established plan for prime video to launch new seasons annually: Invincible Season 2 part 1 issued at the end of 2023, Invincible Season 2 part 2 was launched in early 2025, and its third and most recent season launched earlier this year. Season 4 will also arrive in 2026, so there is no reason to suspect that the fifth installment of the program does not arrive a year after that.
What character could be expressed by Matthew Rhys in season 4 invincible?
InvincibleThe last renewal and completion of voice work in season 5 were not the only announcements made in the previous video. In fact, Amazon also revealed that Matthew Rhys (The Americans, Perry Mason) He had joined the voice cast for one of the best primary video programs.
Understandably, Rhys’s role remains a secret, but that does not mean that we cannot guess which character will portray. After all, there are many candidates in the homonym of graphic novels of the series that has not yet appeared in its animated adaptation.
So who could express Rhys? Grand Regent Thragg is a possibility, but, as much as I like Rhys as an actor, I am not sure that he has gravity to play the commander in chief of the Viltrum empire. JK Simmons, who plays Omni-Man, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who conquered voices, has shown that actors with deeper voices are the most appropriate to portray Viltrumites, so I don’t think Rhys is adequate for Thragg.
If he plays a villain, it could be better than shining him as someone like Dinosaurus, the real name of David Anders, which is a kind of ecoshuman terrorist and, as the name implies, a humanoid reptiles that changes formidablely when it is in its form of Dino. Dinosaurus is a dangerous character, although silly, so Rhys could be the perfect adjustment to interpret it.
In the most heroic front, Rhys can be the ideal actor for someone like Space Racer or Tech Jacket. We have briefly seen these beings overlapped in past seasons of InvincibleBut none of the characters has yet pronounced a word. It is possible, then, that Rhys has been used to express one of them.
I guess we will discover it safely when Invincible Season 4 is finally released. Meanwhile, read the section below to get more coverage in the last season of the series.
