Sir Cliff Richard just predicted that he could “be dead next year.”
The 85 -year -old iconic singer admitted that he is not sure if he will retire after his next I can’t stop now route.
As reported by The mirrorHe told the New Zealand radio station Coast: “I am sure that the audience will see that we, the Big Band and I, are friends and almost a family when we are on tour. So we will try to do something that makes it look 18! But I am not.”
“I don’t want to be an 85 -year type that I try to be 18. What I would probably have to give up at some point is tour. It is very wear, and you never know when you wake up in the morning if your voice is still there,” the Devil Hitmaker added.
Richard continued: “I could be dead next year! So I don’t even think about that. It’s one of those things. As I aged, maybe I get less capable of acting, so I can’t say.”
In addition, the British singer promised that he will never retire since the word is not available “in his vocabulary.”
“I don’t know if I ever want to retire. I don’t mind stopping,” Richard told The mirror.
In addition, he clarified: “Stop meaning that I could change your minds every time I wanted to, or call my office and say: ‘Can you get a couple of nights at the Royal Albert Hall?'”
