The great wrestling struggle Buffwell underwent surgery to amputate his right leg on his right knee, his friend Steve Stasiak wrote on social networks on Friday.
Bagwell, whose real name is Marcus Bagwell, due to complications of the injuries he suffered in a car accident in 2020, Stasiak wrote on Facebook. Stasiak said the injuries were never completely cured.

“I know Buff a long time. I have seen it at the center of attention, I have seen it behind the scene, and I have seen it fight through things that most people never listen. This … this is difficult,” said Stasiak’s publication. “For him. For all who know and love him.
“The wounds of his 2020 accident never cured completely. He gave him everything he had to avoid this result, but that fight took it here. And now a new type of battle begins.
“Buff was one of the brightest stars of a wild era in wrestling. He made you see. He made you worry. But he is who is as a person, you pass from the lights, beyond the person, that I hope people think of today.”

The wrestling world offered his thoughts and prayers for Bagwell on social networks when the word reached X that had undergone surgery.
Bagwell, 55, competed in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) from 1991 to 2001 and then briefly on WWE after WWE bought his rival promotion of North America. He also competed for the total action without stopping and others.

He was five times champion of the WCW label team and held the 66th position in the 500 Main Fighters of Pro Wrestling Illustrated in 1999.
