The high offensive production of the WNBA stars game led Elle to Elle Duncan to say something that many saw how quite raw on live television.
It is not uncommon to see a lack of defense in a game of basketball stars, regardless of whether it is the WNBA or the NBA. But Duncan had an interesting way to describe that side of the game in part time during ABC broadcast on Saturday night.
“We hope it becomes a little more competitive,” Duncan began after seeing that Naphesa Collier team presents 82 to the 60s of Caitlin Clark team in the first half. “Because as a girl trip to Cancun, at this time, there are no D.”

ESPN analyst Chiney Ogwumike said quickly: “Elle, you’re waiting time. You’ve already finished.” Then, the transmission went to the commercial.
After the phrase found his way working on social networks, there were some who did not like Duncan’s humor.

“If Shane Gillis said that, they would try to cancel it,” another wrote, referring to the comedian’s monologue who caught the attention last week.
When the second half finally began, there was more offensive than the defense once again, since Collier led the way with 36 points to help his team beat Clark, 151-131, to win the star game.
Clark did not play in the game, as he continues to breastfeed an injury to the groin that he has been bothering during this 2025 season of the WNBA. He suffered it on Tuesday against Connecticut Sun, which forced her to be left aside for Indiana’s fever during her party against New York freedom on Wednesday.

The second half of the WNBA will begin on Tuesday after the stars festivities this weekend.
