Snoop Dogg has become the co -owner of the Swansea City English championship.
The Soccer Club presented the new investor on Thursday with photos of the rapper swinging his new shirt at home for the 2025-26 season.
“My love for football is no secret, and it feels special to make my transfer to the property of the club with Swansea City,” Snoop said in a statement published on the club’s website.
“The history of the club and the area really took me into account. This is a working class and club. A helpless that bites, like me.”
The Movement puts Snoop with high profile owners in Swansea, which includes the former Unconditional of Real Madrid and the World Croatia World Cup finalist, Luka Modric, who became an interested minority earlier this year.
It is pertinent to mention that his participation as Swansea occurs after American businessmen Brett Cravatt and Jason Cohen took over the club last November.
The movement also positions Snoop Dogg as a direct rival of their fellow North America Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mcelhenney, who bought Welsh Club Wrexham AFC in 2020.
Wrexham, recently promoted to League one, continues its preseason tour and will return to Wales after Saturday’s match against Wellington Phoenix in New Zealand.
