The Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, arrived in New York for an official visit of a week, where he will lead Pakistan’s diplomatic commitments as president of the United Nations Security Council.
During its stay from July 21 to 28, Dar is scheduled to lead high -level exclusive events at the UN Headquarters, which reflects the current leadership role of Islamabad in the Security Council.

Dar will represent Pakistan at the International Conference on two states solution, a high profile event organized by Saudi and France Arabia, which seeks to revitalize international support for Palestinian state.
Upon arriving at the John F. Kennedy International Airport, Dar was received by Pakistan’s permanent representative before the United Nations and the Pakistan ambassador to the United States.

As part of its commitments, to preside over an open high -level debate on “promoting international peace and security through multilateralism and a peaceful dispute agreement”, which seeks to strengthen diplomacy and mediation as vital tools to resolve global conflicts.
