CJP reviews progress on the judicial reform agenda


Islamabad:

The president of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Yahya Afridi, presided over the fifth interactive session on Tuesday at the Pakistan Supreme Court.

The session convened senior officials, interested parties and officials of the Supreme Court to evaluate the progress of integral judicial reforms aimed at improving the provision of services and expanding access to justice throughout the country.

The president of the Supreme Court was informed of a substantial advance in the ambitious reform agenda of the Court. Of 89 identified initiatives, 26 have been completed successfully, reflecting concrete advances in key areas. Another 44 are underway, while 14 are scheduled to start shortly.
