- According to reports, AMD has a high -end RDNA 5 GPUs ready to challenge the next -generation flag of NVIDIA
- Filtration shows a position marker name for the GPU, such as the ‘Radeon RX 10090 XT’
- It comes after the AMD change of high -end offers this generation
The fierce Battle of GPU of AMD and NVIDIA This generation has been largely in the middle range market, with AMD reserving its high -end GPU options for the future, and a new leak suggests that the future may not be as far as expected.
According to a good reputation filter, Moore’s law is dead (MLID), the next generation RDNA GPU 5, the ‘RADEON RX 10090 XT’, it is projected to challenge the next flagship of NVIDIA, the ‘NVIDIA RTX 6090’. It is expected to use 36 GB of GDDR7 VRM, 154 computer units, in a 384 -bit memory bus.
Of course, none of these GPU is confirmed, but according to the leak, it is supposed to be launched between 2026 and 2027. MLID states that the ‘Radeon RX 10090 XT’ and other names of Radeon RDNA 5 GPU models are position markers, as there is no word about what they will be called.
The ‘AT0’ dice is supposedly used for the rumored GPU, with 380W energy consumption. Once again, MLID suggests that nothing here is final, so the adjustments to the 36 GB informed of GDDR7 VRM registered at 36 Gbps can change when it is launched.
We do not know what NVIDIA has planned for its next -generation flagship GPU, but based on the specifications of the NVIDIA RTX 4090 (128 computer units) and the update to the Blackwell RTX 5090 (170 computing units), the jump to an RTX 6090 would probably be considerably.
The reported specifications of Radeon RX 10090 XT would put it in the Pole Position to collide with the next GPU of GeForce Badge, at least challenge it close enough. More importantly, if this is legitimate, it puts AMD to the map to fight the GREEN team in the high -end GPU market.

Analysis: I hope this is true, but I will not endure my breath
While it can be argued that AMD has remained well in its medium range GPU battle with NVIDIA, inflated prices have finally ruined the attractiveness of the GPUs such as the Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9060 XT, since they considered the best alternative to the expensive cards of Nvidia graphics.
However, that does not come; Nvidia has desperately needed more competition within the GPU market, and I have mentioned it several times before. Even when AMD still focused on high -end GPUs, Team Green’s flagship GPU would always lead power and performance.
Now, if the AMD Radeon RX 10090 XT (for registration, I really hope it is not its name) is planned and has the rumored MLID specifications, then it is great news. I would not expect a 6090 RTX card to be overcome, but at least, get close enough to challenge her.
With luck, by 2026 or 2027, market inflation will not be a big problem, and AMD can launch a new powerful alignment with affordable prices. If AMD cannot overcome Nvidia in terms of hardware on the GPU side, the best solution is to make your GPU prices more accessible. However, who am I joking? It is an illusion after all.
