Islamabad:
The PTI has finished a comprehensive plan for its expected protest movement on August 5 in the middle of a wide crack in the party.
According to the sources, the central leadership of the party has issued new instructions to all provincial leaders and organizational units to guarantee a strong participation for the protest on August 5. It has been decided that each ticket holder will lead a demonstration of protest in their constant constituency and will celebrate a demonstration.
However, the reports within the party suggest that several leaders have expressed a lack of confidence in Secretary General Salman Akram Raja. The sources claim that Raja has declared in several meetings that “it is not protest material”, which leads to dissatisfaction among some members of the parties with respect to their role.
An important meeting of the political committee of the party today (Saturday) is expected, but the place for it has not yet been completed. The sources said Raja already went to Sindh, supposedly ignoring the importance of the political committee, which can deepen the internal divisions within the party. In addition, after the convictions related to the events of May 9, several high -level leaders remain absent from the public scene, affecting the organizational activities of the party.
Previously, on Thursday, a statement by the founder of PTI Invancing Imran Khan appeared in the media in which he ordered all the members of his party that immediately leave all internal differences and focus only on the protest movement of August 5 of the party, “for which a significant impulse is not being built today.”
