Islamabad:
Pakistan unequivocally condemned the illegal attempt of the Israeli Parliament of affirming the “sovereignty” about the occupied Bank, qualifying it as a serious violation of international law that reflects Israel’s persistent contempt for Palestinian rights and the established international standards.
In addition, the Senate, in a unanimous resolution, strongly condemning the decision of the Israeli Parliament (Knést).
“Such deliberate and provocative actions highlight the systematic attempts of the occupation power of undermining peace efforts and strengthening their illegal occupation. These unilateral measures represent a dangerous escalation that endangers regional stability and perspectives for a fair and lasting settlement”, “Shafqat Ali Khan, in a statement.
He asked the international community to take rapid and decisive measures to hold Israel for their violations of the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and international humanitarian law.
These measures will not be recognized or alter the internationally recognized state of the occupied Palestinian territory, he added.

The Senate resolution was transferred by Senator Palwlawa Mohammad Zai Khan in the name of the entire camera.
The resolution recalled that the West Bank is internationally recognized as occupied territory and that any unilateral annexation or sovereignty claim is a clear affront to the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
The Chamber affirmed the government and the people of the unwavering support of Pakistan to the fair cause of Palestine and the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state, in line with the relevant UN resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
