- The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra could have a broader opening for two of its cameras
- It can also be thinner and lighter than the Ultra S25, and have a faster load
- However, the main sensor may not change, and there are disagreements on whether the battery will increase in size
There has been a burst of rumors of Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra on the last day more or less, and are largely promising, which points to improved cameras, higher loading speeds and more, but there are some elements for the advice that sound less positive.
Starting with the cameras, the Tipster of good reputation @universeice has affirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will have a new lens with a wider opening for its 200MP main camera. This should improve the photos with little light in particular, but suggest that all kinds of photos taken with this lens will benefit, and this is apparently “the most obvious update from the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra.”
That certainly sounds promising, although the least promising is that this new lens will not apparently be paired with a new sensor, with the supposedly used HP2 ISOCELL.

The same source has made many other statements about the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra at the Chinese Weibo social media site, including that its 50MP 5X teleobjective camera will also have a broader opening than in the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.
In the same place, they have also said that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have less than 8 mm thick, which is below 8.2 mm for the Ultra Galaxy S25. Apparently, it will also be a few grams lighter than the 218G Galaxy S25 ultra.
Faster load and a ability discussed
However, unfortunately, when you lose weight the phone, Samsung may not leave room for a larger battery, and this source also states that it will once again reach 5,000 mAh. But apparently at least it will charge 60W higher, compared to 45W at the Ultra Galaxy S25.
And there is some disagreement on the side of the battery of things, with filter @chunvn8888 alleging that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will actually have a larger battery of 5,500 mAh and a 65w load.
They also have a solid history, although given Samsung’s apparent reluctance to go beyond the 5,000 mAh batteries, we suspect that @universeex is right in this case.
We will probably discover it with certainty at the beginning of 2026, since it is when the entire Samsung Galaxy S26 line will be launched.
